"It can't be that stupid," Sam thought. He hadn't
been hunting long, so he knew it should be harder
than this. The figure was backlit by the candle in
the bag it chose to hide in. Clear target, easy shot.
Too easy. The paper bag was shredded and the candle’s
flame was extinguised. A rattling noise could be
heard when salt hit the metal cat shaped cut out.
"Way to go, Sam," Dean said in sarcastic
encouragement. "That decoration won't menace innocent
trick-or-treaters anymore. Now let's find that
matagot."
Sam made his trademark bitch face. "I hate
Halloween."
