Hell may have a reputation as a place of fire and
brimstone, but it could be endlessly creative in how
it chose to break you. He never liked the cold. Too
many hours shivering as he stalked something lurking
in the woods. Too many times watching his breath
misting before the spirit attacked. Too many years
riding beside icy, focused presence of his father. So
when the air around him turned chill and bitter, he
assumed it was a new form of torture, and not from
commanding and channeling Hell’s power as he gently
lifted his brother from the meathook.
