It was easy for Dean to ignore the little things. Like Sam’s independent attitude. Although he claimed gigantor sized levels of angst about being a freak with demon blood in his veins, he never seemed to mope like he used to. And then there was the look of pride on his face, those puppy dog eyes seeking approval from his mistress when he fought fire with fire, demons with demon powers.
Nope, he had an easy time ignoring that. Because otherwise he’d have to deal with the fact that Castiel had dragged him out of hell to kill his brother.
