One of the psychics who aided father during hunts once told him the rook was his totem.
The Dean for Religious Life at Stanford thought his knowledge of spiritual matters surpassed those of a bishop.
John had tried to mold him into a knight to defend the innocent and weak from the darkness encroaching on this world.
But kneeling next to his ravaged brother after the hellhounds took him, Sam believed he was only a sacrificed pawn.
