If the primary characters are all orginal, why do you list this story as fanfiction?
Runs in the Blood uses characters from two X-Files fanfiction series, Move Heaven and Earth and Loup Garou, as well as characters from the X-Files series.
Who are the people in the artwork?
Anton Rudenko = Mark Vanderloo
Mark is one of the very first male supermodels in the world. He has done work for DKNY, Hugo Boss, and Versace.
Sabryn "Bryn" Rudenko = Angelina Jolie
Angelina is an Oscar-winning actress who also is an ambassador for the United Nations Refugee program. She is best known for her role as Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider movies.
Nathaniel "Nate" Rudenko (Adrik) = Galen Gering
Galen Gering is a model/actor. He currently appears as the character Luis on the NBC soap opera, Passions.
Alinda "Lindy" Rudenko (Adrik) = Lisa Kudrow
Lisa Kudrow is an Emmy winning actress. She is best known for her role as Phoebe on the sitcom Friends.
How do you write?
We usually meet online at night on AIM. One person writes a paragraph or two and emails it. The other person emails a response. And so on until someone (usually Shael) has to go to bed.
Who writes which characters?
Isa primarily writes Bryn & Nate. Shael writes Anton & Lindy. We share just about everyone else.
Lindy was 13 years old in the last Loup Garou story, and she's 23 in Runs in the Blood. But both stories happen during the same timeframe. And we were in the middle of an alien invasion in Move Heaven and Earth. Not to mention Alex Krycek and Sabryn were lovers. What happened?
We are using characters and certain parts of the backstory from Loup Garou and Move Heaven and Earth. Runs in the Blood is an alternate universe from those series.
Have you thought about/have plans to submit it to be published professionally?
At this time, no, due to the amount of rewriting that would need to take place.
I noticed that Shael does a lot of role playing. Is she roleplaying any characters from Runs in the Blood?
Shael not playing Anton or Lindy on any of the PBeMs or tabletops she is in. She does play Jess, but almost completly different from the way she is depicted here.

What does that last question have to do with Runs in the Blood?
Absolutely nothing. We're both Eddie Izzard fans, and Shael can't resist quoting that line whenever she gets the chance.
